Do you have what it takes to be a NASCAR driver?  Climb into a race-ready stock car and find out what it takes to tame a 355 horsepower racecar on one of the finest paved ˝ mile short track speedways in the country.  The Jennerstown Speedway “Thunder on the Mountain” driving experience gives you the opportunity to roar around the track like your favorite NASCAR driver.  Classes run every week May through September at either 8:00 am or 1:00pm.  Reservations are required.  So what are you waiting for?  Put some Thunder in your life at Jennerstown Speedway!

· 45-minute classroom instruction where you receive technical instruction on the race line, throttle response, braking techniques, and the anatomy of a NASCAR stock car.

· Ride with an instructor in the Jennerstown Speedway pace car as he shows you the entry, exit, and braking techniques.

· Ride along with the instructor in the stock car where you will receive your final instructions.

· Pilot the stock car yourself around the fast ˝ mile Jennerstown oval for:

                 15—Laps:  Checkered Flag Experience

                 10—Laps:  White Flag Experience                                     

· Put the final exclamation point on your experience and see what it feels like to get “pinned back in your seat” as you race around the speedway in a 2-lap qualifying run at top speed.

· Receive a certificate of completion and a photo of you in victory lane with the racecar.

· 5 heart pounding laps in the passenger seat of the race car!
