RAIN SHOWERS CANCEL SUPER SIX RACING AT JENNERSTOWN SPEEDWAY

Jennerstown, Pa.-(May 22, 1999)- Mother Nature brought Spring rains to Western Pennsylvania, cancelling CVS Pharmacy's presentation of Super Six Racing at Jennerstown Speedway, Saturday May 22nd. All tickets purchased for the rained-out event will be honored at face-value for a future race at the Speedway.

Racing continues next week as Kennametal is set to present the 3rd Annual Piney Lasky Memorial 200 on May 29th. Local NAPA Auto Parts Late Model drivers will compete in this 200-lap event for a purse expected to exceed $25,000.

In addition to the Piney Lasky Memorial, Giant Eagle Pro Trucks will compete in a 50- lap race presented by IRWIN RV. PA Legacy Cars and Chargers will also race next weekend at Jennerstown Speedway.

Spectator Gates will open at 4:00 p.m. for next week's racing. Late Model time trials are scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m. Order tickets in advance and SAVE. Advanced ticket orders are being taken now for only $15, or pay $20 at the gate. Children 12 and under enter FREE of charge.
