JENNERSTOWN PREPARES FOR SEASON-ENDING EVENTS
 
Jennerstown, Pa.-(Sept. 12, 1999)-Jennerstown Speedway's 1999 season
comes to a close Saturday, September 18, when the half-mile oval hosts the First
Annual Fall Fest Nationals, including Spectator Drags and a 100-lap Enduro.
 
Drivers 16 and older can test their racing skills with Spectator Drags. Two
classes are set to compete for cash prizes. Competitors can enter street cars into the
car class, or truck/SUV/Van class. From a stand still, racers will race from start to finish,
and the first vehicle back to the finish moves on. First place pays $150, while second-
and third-place both receive $50 in prize money.
 
The four-cylinder, front-wheel drive Enduro is back by popular demand. Over 40
cars entered the Enduro for the First Annual Tire Squealin' Nationals held in July. The
Enduro is set for 100-laps or one hour. First place pays $500, second takes home
$300, and $100 goes to third.
 
Entry fees for the Fall Fest Nationals are only $10! Pit gates open at 3 p.m., and
main gates open at 4:30 p.m. The green flag will drop at 6:30 p.m. Pit admission is only
$10, or cheer from the stands for only $5. Kids 12 and under are FREE. Call the
Speedway Office for ticket and rule information.
 
Reservations are now being taken for the 32nd Annual Awards Banquet. The
Four Points Hotel, Greensburg, will once again host Jennerstown drivers, crew, and
fans as they look back and celebrate the 1999 season. The banquet is scheduled for
Saturday, December 4. Seating is limited, and tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-
