Speedway Prepares for $3.00 dollar Fan Appreciation
Night
Jennerstown, Pa.- (May 26, 1999)-
Three dollars does not buy much these days. Especially
not a Saturday night filled with action-packed
entertainment. Even a two hour movie costs upwards of 10
dollars. But three dollars is exactly what Snyder's of
Berlin's presentation of "FAN APPRECIATION NIGHT" will
cost race fans June 5th at Jennerstown Speedway.
Last season over 10,000 race fans packed Jennerstown
in celebration of this annual three dollar racing
extravaganza. People from all over the region came to
the Speedway for an entire night of family fun at the
lowest price around.
"Rewarding our race fans for their continued support
has always been one of our top priorities," Speedway
General Manager Bob Duvall said. "And that is what 'FAN
APPRECIATION NIGHT' is all about. Our regular racing
rate at $7.50 is a great deal, but three dollars for an
entire night of entertainment is unheard of."
As an added bonus Snyder's will present the first
2,000 spectators through the gates with a FREE bag of
their kettle chips. Race fans can expect to see a full
night of racing action with the Super Six Racing
Program. All six divisions will race heats plus
features.
Spectator gates will open at 4:30 p.m., and the Heat
Races are scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. Seating is at
a first-come first-serve basis, and crowd attendance is
expected to be high, so do not be late. Reserved tickets
are also available for the upcoming NASCAR Double Header
on June 19th. Carquest will present the NASCAR Modified
150, and Burnham will present the Busch Grand National
North 150, making this the biggest NASCAR event in
Western Pennsylvania in over 30 years. Reserved tickets
are only $25, or pay $30 at the gate. Kids enter for $5.
For more information or to reserve your tickets, call
the Speedway Office at (814) 629-6677. Additional
