Super Six Racing Resumes at Jennerstown
Jennerstown, Pa.-(July
2, 1999)-The 1999 NASCAR Winston Racing Series is
nearing its half-way point at Jennerstown Speedway.
Saturday July 10th marks the ninth week of regular
racing at Jennerstown Speedway, and North Star Auto
Parts will present a full night of racing, plus bike
races for kids.
"After having an off-weekend our competitors are
excited to start racing for points again," Speedway
General Manager Bob Duvall said. "Plus the bike races
for kids is such an exciting event. The kids love racing
on the same surface as their favorite drivers do."
The bike races are open to kids 12 and under.
Children will be divided based on age and must bring
their bikes and helmets to participate. Somerset Pizza
Hut will award all participants free personal pan pizza
certificates, and each division's winner will receive a
trophy. Plus, all kids are invited to enter
Jennerstown's weekly candy contest, sponsored by
Somerset Candy, and kids are welcomed to play in the new
84 Lumber play area.
Gates open at 4:30 p.m. for all spectators, and
ticket price is $7.50 for adults, and kids enter FREE
every Saturday night in July. Be sure not to miss
Winston Cup Night July 17th, when Jennerstown Speedway
presents a Race of Champions, featuring four NASCAR
Winston Cup drivers in a race among themselves. Advance
ticket orders are now being taken for $15, or pay the
gate price of $20. Call the Speedway Office today for
