Jennerstown, Pa.-(July 15, 1999)-With the tremendous growth NASCAR has seen in the past five years, much of the spotlight has been placed on the current stars of the sport. But give credit to NASCAR Winston Cup legend Harry Gant for helping to facilitate this growth. Local race fans will have once in a lifetime opportunity to meet Gant and watch him in a Race of Champions Saturday July 17th at Jennerstown Speedway.
Gant remains one of motorsports' most popular icons and will join current Winston Cup stars Mike Skinner, Michael Waltrip and Hut Stricklin in a 25-lap feature at the Laurel Highlands oval.
