Rain Cancels Out Races At Jennerstown

    Jennerstown, PA (August 15, 1998) - Steady but persistent rains put a stop to the weekly NASCAR Winston Racing Series program Saturday night at Jennerstown Speedway.  After numerous attempts to dry the racing surface, Speedway officials finally had to make the decision to cancel the night's activities.
    The Speedway now prepares for the NASCAR Busch Series Grand National Divisions visit this coming Saturday, August 22, 1998.  Both the Busch Series pits, and main gates will open at 10:00 A.M., with Busch Series practice starting at 1:00 P.M.  The Busch Series time trials will start at 5:30 P.M., and the regular NASCAR Winston Racing Series program will begin at 6:30 P.M.
