JENNERSTOWN SPEEDWAY RELEASES THE 2008 SCHEDULE

Jennerstown, PA - Februray 12, 2008 Hey race fans! It's time to get geared up for the 2008 season at Jennerstown Speedway! As you may know, the speedway is under new management. Dave & Jennifer Wheeler have worked out a lease agreement with their long time Operations Manager, Joe Dirienzo.

Back on the schedule this year is the ever popular Race of Champions in which 4-5 Nextel Cup drivers appear at Jennerstown Speedway to sign autographs and race. The names of those drivers will be announced soon! The Race of Champions is scheduled as the kick off to the season on May 31st. This produces a sell out crowd, and tickets will go on sale when the drivers are announced. An event that is new to our Speedway this year is a Monster Truck show. This event will take place on June 21. Details will be available in the near future. And yet another popular show has returned to Jennerstown Speedway, the USAR Hooter's Pro Cup Series will return on July 26th with a 250 lap event. The annual ISMA tour will remain on our schedule. They are set to appear in a single 50 lap event on July 5th. Aside from these events we will continue the weekly racing series here at Jennerstown. The hobby stock, street stock, & the premier Super Late Model divisions will continue to entertain you each week. Jennerstown Speedway would like to reward all of our loyal fans with a "Fan Appreciation Night" where admission is only $1.00. This will be on June 28th. To make our venue more family friendly, this year we are working on lower prices. Prices will be available when they are finalized.
