JENNERSTOWN, PA (June 9)…Greensburg’s Jason Mignogna held off a pack of 13 Super Late Model cars while in second place to take the lead from the number 37 of Paul Urso.  After a late caution on lap 34, he took the lead and captured his first victory for the 2007 season at Jennerstown Speedway. Mignogna fought his way from starting 6^th to challenge the pole sitter, Urso, after a double-file start and a spin on the straight-away late in the race. Until that caution, it looked to have been a sweep by the pole sitter having almost a quarter of a lap gap between he and the second place car of the 07 of Mignogna.

            While most of the action stayed the same in the front of the pack of super late model’s, further back the number 75 of Barry Awtey and the number 45 of Rick Boyer battled for 5^th place. With only one caution in the books for the 40 lap feature third race of the 2007 season, Boyer beat Awtey to the checkers finishing 5^th and 6^th.

            In the Budweiser,  Hobby Stock division it was yet another blow-out by the Dodge Neon of the number 27 of Steve Long. Long battled his way from starting 11^th to capture his 3^rd victory for the 2007 season.

            It was yet another victory for the Kostelnik family in the Somerset Trust Company, Street Stock Division. Adam Kostelnik battled his way from starting 11^th place to take the victory on Saturday night.

            On Saturday June 16, 2007, Jennerstown Speedway will host the Lennox 100 lap Super Late Model event. The Super Late division will compete in a 100 lap event instead of the usual 40 lap feature race. All other racing action will be as usual.
