MAARA RELEASES 2007
SCHEDULE
JENNERSTOWN, PA (Dec.
6) … The Mid-Atlantic Asphalt Racing Alliance (MAARA), which consists of
six-member tracks in the New York and Western Pennsylvania region, has
released an 11-race touring late model schedule for the 2007 season.
The MAARA series will
make two stops at the Holland Speedway, Jennerstown Speedway, Lake Erie
Speedway and Motordrome Speedway next season, while also visiting
Adirondack International Speedway, Lancaster Raceway Park and the Oswego
Speedway.
Highlighting the slate
will be a 200-lap contest at Lake Erie Speedway on July 21, paying a
purse in excess of $50,000. All other events will be 100-laps.
Will Thomas captured the inaugural
MAARA championship in 2006, winning three of the five contested
races.
