Tim Bainey Jr. and the DelGrosso Racing Team Ready for MAARA 100 at Jennerstown

Tim Bainey Jr. and the DelGrosso Racing Team had August 12^th marked on their calendar ever since the new MAARA Series was announced last winter.

“We have been looking forward to running one of these since they announced the formation of MAARA,” said Tim Jr. “We keep a full schedule with our USAR Hooter’s ProCup Series Team, so this is the first one we could fit into our schedule.”

When asked about the MAARA in general, Tim Jr. was full of compliments about the new racing series.

“It’s great to see these tracks all working together to make the MAARA Series possible. I think the idea behind it is great, if you can get cars competing throughout the Northeast on a similar set of rules – then you are going to see a lot more interest with drivers, teams, and most importantly team sponsors.”

“The series substantially increases the exposure level for everyone taking part in the MAARA events, the teams and the tracks. When you’re looking at showing sponsors a return on investment - you’re taking things to a whole new level.”

“Now instead of having 10,000 fans who come to Jennerstown during the year and follow their hometown guys, you add in Erie, Holland, Motordrome, and Lancaster to the mix and you have 50,000 people taking interest in these events. That’s a bigtime increase.”

“And from a fan’s point of view – this has to be a dream come true. I would say they are in for a real treat.”

When asked about making his debut in the MAARA Series, Tim Bainey Jr. had this to say.

“Well we look forward to running any race at Jennerstown Speedway, I love that place. We have really worked hard to get our DelGrosso Car dialed in down there. I know these MAARA guys already have a few 100 lap races in, but I’m thinking we are going to give them a little surprise this weekend.”

“I was talking about all those fans and the new following the MAARA Series has created. By the end of the night we’re planning to leave a taste of the DelGrosso Foods Racing Team with them all.”
