Jennerstown rules mtg / sponsor seminar set for oct. 22

JENNERSTOWN, PA (Sept. 26, 2005) … Jennerstown Speedway will host its annual rules meeting for competitors on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2005 from 1-3 PM at the Jennerstown Fire Hall.

Car specifications and procedures will be reviewed for the 2006 racing season at the half-mile asphalt Somerset County oval.

“There will be a number of significant rule changes announced aimed at standardization, cost reduction, and making it easier for new racers to enter the sport,” said general manager Larry Mattingly. “The new rules, coupled with our recently introduced marketing philosophy should help to make Jennerstown an entertainment stronghold in the Laurel Highlands region.”

Prior to the general rules meeting a sponsorship seminar will be conducted for team marketing representatives from 10-12 PM. Available co-op programs between the speedway and race teams will be discussed. All teams actively seeking sponsorship for 2006 are urged to attend.
