May 28th has
been marked on the Greased Lightning Racing Team’s
Schedule since the beginning of the season. Tim
Bainey Jr. has adopted Jennerstown Speedway as his
home track since moving to the USAR Series Tour back
in 2001. He has grown to like the speedway so much
over the last few years, that late last season he
put together a deal that would allow him to run at
the ˝ mile track every week he has off from the USAR
Hooter’s ProCup Series Tour.
This Saturday Night
Bainey Jr. and the Greased Lightning Racing Team
will look to add another solid finish to their 2005
resume, and from the way they have been running
lately – they are thinking about the possibility of
taking that first-ever USAR Hooter’s ProCup Series
Victory this weekend.
“Jennerstown would be a
great place to get our first win,” said Bainey Jr.
“It’s as close to home as we get with the USAR Tour
and we have put a lot of laps in at that place. I
really just want to get another solid finish in –
this year has been going great so far – but I’m not
going to rule out that first win. It will be the
first time we have had this car at Jennerstown, once
we get through practice and stuff then I will be
able to tell you more.”
Tim Jr. and the #15
