This weekend Jennerstown
Speedway will be offering
something new for all of our
race fans and car enthusiasts
from aroung the area. The Sugar
Bush Region of the A.A.C.P. Car
Club will host the 1st Annual
Western PA Car Cruise, Car Show,
Flea Market and Swap Meet at
Jennerstown Speedway.
The activities will kickoff
on Saturday night, September
4th, with a chance for all car
enthisiasts to parade their cars
around Jennerstown Speedway
during intermission. The
following day, September 5th
from 9:00am till 4:00pm the club
will hold the 1st Annual Western
PA Car Show, Flea Market and
Swap Meet in the pits at
Jennerstown Speedway. Don't miss
your chance to show off your
ride to all of our racers and
fans.
HERE IS HOW IT WORKS!!
Bring your car to Jennerstown
Speedway on Saturday night,
September 4th at 4:30pm to
register for the cruise around
the track. Members of the Sugar
Bush Car Club will be on hand at
the main gate to register your
vehicle. We will stage all of
the cars just inside the main
gate and cruise around the track
during intermission. After the
track laps your vehicles will be
secured in an impoud area, with
security guards, so that you can
enjoy the racing action without
worrying about your vehicle.
All participants will receive
free admission and all
passengers will receive 1/2
price to the races.
BUT THAT'S JUST THE
BEGINNING!!
On Sunday, September 5, from
9:00am - 4:00pm, the Sugar Bush
Car Club will hold the 1st
Annual Western PA Car Show, Flea
Market, and Swap Meet at
Jennerstown Speedway.
Registration will be from 9:00am
until 1:00pm. Registration is
$6.00 per car. Admission for the
general public is FREE. The show
is for all Cars, Bike, Street
Rods and Custom Street Vehicles.
Trophies will be presented
for the oldest bike, oldest car,
youngest driver, oldest driver,
greatest distance traveled, and
the car club with the 2nd most
cars registered, and a special
Jennerstown Mayors Choice Award.
The club with the most cars
registered will receive $200.
Dash plaques will be presented
while supplies last. Door prizes
will be selected all day long.
(how about a weekend getaway for
two at Seven Springs Mountain
Resort) All trophies and door
prizes will be awarded at
3:00pm.
THATS STILL NOT ALL!!!
The Jennerstown Speedway Ride &
Drive experience (THUNDER ON THE
MOUNTAIN) will be at the track
Sunday afternoon from 1:00pm -
4:00pm to give you a chance to
make a few laps around the track
in a genuine NASCAR Late Model.
Don't miss out on all of the
fun. Come out and enjoy two
great days of entertainment.
