(Somerset, PA) Saturday morning television just got a whole lot faster! The multi award winning Chase to the Checkered is back for the 2004 racing season with a new look and mission!

Chase to the Checkered, better known as "C2C," is the only television program on the dial that covers all types of racing in western Pennsylvania. From motocross to drag racing to the region's ovals and road courses, the C2C crew visits different speedways every weekend with cameras rolling catching the action and excitement of regional motorsports.

Western Pennsylvania is home to over forty different tracks, speedways, motorsports venues and events that attract hundreds of thousands of loyal fans to the region every summer weekend.

For the past two years, C2C provided award winning coverage and highlights of racing and events solely at Jennerstown Speedway.

"While our coverage and support of racing at Jennerstown was fantastic, we needed to open the program up to different types of racing in order to make the show more attractive to a wider variety of race fans, teams, series and sponsors," said C2C Executive Producer Jarred Romesburg. "C2C's goal and purpose has switched from infomercial to a highlight show that will promote racing as a whole in our region."

Chase to the Checkered is broadcast Saturdays to over 1.47 Million households at 9:00am on WNPA-TV UPN Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh and at Noon on WWCP Fox 8 in Johnstown/Altoona/State College.
