C2C was awarded a 2004 Silver Axiem in the Regional Sports Television Program category.

The 6th Annual Axiem Awards was an international competition that recognized absolute excellence in electronic media. Axiem Award judges are a distinguished panel of video and television industry leaders from across the United States.

"It is an honor to be recognized and to see C2C compete so strongly against competition from around the world," said Chase to the Checkered's Executive Producer Jarred Romesburg. "The award goes to the C2C crew and sponsors who do so much to bring this show to the fans every week."

This is the third award the motorsports program has received since going on the air in 2002. It has received a Communicator Award and an Aegis Award for its excellence in sports television production.
