Dave Campbell
picks up career first victory in the PA
Legacy Series
Jennerstown
Speedway was the setting for Dave Campbell
to pick up his first victory in the PA
Legacy Series on Saturday, May 22, 2004. At
the drop of the green flag, Jayme Bolkovac
jumped in the early lead with a full field
of cars on her bumper. Just after the half
way flags were shown, PJ Ehrlich challenged
Bolkovac for the lead but contact was made
sending both cars spinning off of turn 4 and
going to the back of the field. On the
restart, Brett Boyer took the green and was
immediately challenged by Dave Campbell with
Campbell taking over the lead. At the
checkered flag, it was Dave Campbell
followed by Brett Boyer, Chris Brink, Andrew
Wylie and Dan Brink. Heat races were won by
Dave Campbell and PJ Ehrlich.
Next Saturday
night, Jennerstown Speedway will host the
Allison Legacy Series National Touring 50
lap race. Practice and qualifying will take
place from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm with racing at
5:00 pm.
The PA Legacy
Series will be back in action on Friday,
June 4, 2004 at Motordrome Speedway and
Saturday, June 5, 2004 at Jennerstown
Speedway.
