PJ EHRLICH PICKS UP WIN #4 IN 2004
The PA Legacy Series, powered by
Romesburg Media, was at Jennerstown Speedway on Saturday, August
28, 2004 for a “hot” night of racing. P.J. Ehrlich took full
advantage of his starting spot, jumping out to the lead at the
drop of the green flag over Kyle Martel in the 25-lap PA Legacy
Series feature event. PJ Ehrlich and Kyle Martel were clearly
the class of the field as the two pulled away from the rest of
the field. PJ Ehrlich would however maintain a near
straightaway lead over Martel throughout the race. As the laps
winded down in the caution free event, the best battle on the
track took place for the third spot between Dave Campbell and
Chris Brink. As the checkered flag fell, it would be PJ Ehrlich
picking up his fourth win of the season with Kyle Martel coming
home a distant second. Dave Campbell edged out Chris Brink for
third with Brett Boyer completing the top five. Kyle Martel won
the lone heat race.
The PA Legacy Series will have next
weekend off with some of the teams traveling to Unity, Maine for
the 2nd Annual “Little Dawg 150”, presented by the
New England Allison Legacy Series. Local action will resume on
Saturday, September 4, 2004 at Jennerstown Speedway. A tight
points battle has the top 5 teams battling hard for every
position.
