The PA Legacy Series, powered by
Romesburg Media, was on hand at Jennerstown Speedway for a great
night of competition. The 25-lap feature saw Chris Brink jump
out to the early lead. But a yellow for a spinning Dave
Campbell quickly slowed the field on lap 2. On the restart,
Jayme Bolkovac got the jump and took off with the lead with Kyle
Martel following right behind. The two battled door to door
with Kyle Martel finally able to pull ahead on lap 13. Chris
Brink would also get past Jayme Bolkovac and close in on Kyle
Martel, but unable to make a challenge. Kyle Martel went onto
take home his fourth win of the season. Chris Brink came home
second with P.J. Ehrlich in third. Jayme Bolkovac faded to
fourth with Brett Boyer rounding out the top five. The heat
race win went to Jayme Bolkovac.
The next scheduled event for the PA
Legacy Series will be next Saturday night, August 28, 2004, at
Jennerstown Speedway.
