HAGERSTOWN, MD. USAR Hooters ProCup driver Eric Corbett is looking forward to racing in the 2nd Championship race at his home track this 2003 season. Jennerstown Speedway, Jennerstown, PA is the venue for the October 4th event. Corbett ran the track earlier this season and his Clean & Shine, Larry & Son’s Ford Taurus finished in the number 2 position. Corbett, who finished fifth in the Northern Division point standings, said he is going to Jennerstown to win it this time. “I love coming home, I know this track and I plan on coming home with the win,” said Corbett.

The green flag will drop at 7:00 PM at Jennerstown Speedway. Speed Channel will air the race on Wednesday, October 8th at 10:00 PM and again on Friday, October 10th at 12:00 PM.

Corbett has one USAR win under his belt. He holds six top 5 finishes and ten top 10 finishes. The average finish for the Corbett team was 8.42 during the 2003 season. Corbett looks forward to running all the championship races this 2003 series.

When asked about his plans for the 2004 season, Corbett will only say that he is currently weighing opportunities to drive for another team in ‘04. Corbett did comment, “We will be here in 2004, and we will be strong.”
