November 7th, NASCAR on Display at Chiefs Game
Johnstown, Pa - Tuesday, November 4, 2003 -
The Johnstown Chiefs are proud to announce that the #24
Jeff Gordon Dupont Chevrolet Monte Carlo car will be on
display at the War Memorial Arena, on Friday, November
7th during the Chiefs vs. Toledo Storm game. Face-off is
at 7:00 p.m.
With 62 career victories and 4 Winston Cup titles,
Gordon has been one of NASCAR's most celebrated drivers
in his brief 10 year professional career. The "Rainbow
Warrior," posted his most recent victory at the Virginia
500 on April 13th at Martinsville, VA. The 32 year old
Gordon is a member of the Hendricks Motorsports team.
The car will be on display in the new storage
building adjacent to the arena from 5:45 p.m., through
the end of the second period of the hockey game. Fans
must purchase tickets to the game in order to view the
car. Photos will be available.
"We have wanted to do a promotion like this for some
time. West-Central Pennsylvania has a very strong and
loyal following of NASCAR fans, and to be able to
showcase the Jeff Gordon car is great for our fans and
this region," said Chiefs Vice-President and General
Manager Jim Brazill.
Tickets will go on sale for this game and all other
Johnstown Chiefs regular season games on Thursday,
October 9th, at the War Memorial Arena Box Office or by

Johnstown Chiefs kick off the 2003-2004 home schedule on
Saturday, October 18th when they host the Long Beach
