(Jennerstown, PA) May 10, 2003
-The rumble of thunder, torrential downpours in the early morning
hours, and the strong storms approaching from the west caused the management
of Jennerstown Speedway to cancel this Saturday night’s racing of the NASCAR
Dodge Weekly Series.
Typically, rained out races at Jennerstown Speedway would be rescheduled for
the following Sunday, but racing will not take place tomorrow due to the
Mothers Day holiday. If necessary, the feature races will be made up at a
future date.
Coming up next Saturday night, May 17th at the Laurel Highlands Oval,
Somerset Trust Company presents the Somerset Trust 75. The Rolling Rock Late
Models will be in action in this 75 lap feature race. Fans will also be
treated to ProTruck, Modified, Street Stock and Charger features. Adult
admission is $15 with children 12 and under being admitted for free. Pit
gates will open at 2PM, grandstand gates will open at 3PM, and racing will
begin at 6PM.
The staff and management of Jennerstown Speedway would like to wish all
mothers a Happy Mothers Day!

Jennerstown Speedway will host its first 75 lap feature race of the Rolling
Rock Late Models in 2003 this coming Saturday night with the Somerset Trust
75.
Due to the longer Rolling Rock Late Model feature, there will be no PA
Legacy Series feature on the card for next weekend’s racing. After the first
race, Oakmont, PA’s P.J. Erlich is the points leader with two-time Series
champ Jayme Bolkovac in second.
There are only three more Saturdays until Jennerstown Speedway’s award
winning television program Chase to the Checkered returns to the airwaves.
It will make its debut in the Pittsburgh television market on Saturday, June
7, 2003 at 8:3AM on UPN 19. C2C will debut in Johnstown on WJAC-TV on
Saturday June 22, 2003 at 9:00AM. For more information about C2C, please
