JENNERSTOWN SPEEDWAY’S CHASE TO THE CHECKERED GOES FULL THROTTLE THIS SATURDAY ON UPN 19 IN PITTSBURGH

(Somerset, PA) Bolt down your television, Pittsburgh! The award winning, local motorsports television program Chase to the Checkered takes to the Pittsburgh television airwaves this Saturday morning.

Chase to the Checkered, or “C2C,”  is a weekly program that will air at 8:30am on WNPA-TV UPN-19 through September.  C2C highlights the races, drivers and events at Jennerstown Speedway covering the NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series, the American Speed Association (ASA) and other events at the Laurel Highlands Oval.

Produced by Romesburg Media, C2C provides race fans with an in-depth look at Jennerstown Speedway’s races , comments from the drivers, crews and owners, and detailed insight into other regional motorsports related topics.

Beginning June 21^st, C2C will also be seen Saturday mornings on WJAC-TV in the Johnstown/Altoona/State College market delivering the program to well over 1.46 Million households in the tri-state area.

Chase to the Checkered originally aired in the early 1990’s. Romesburg Media revived the program in 2002 airing it in the Johnstown/Altoona/State College market on WWCP-TV.

Chase to the Checkered is the only regional television program of its kind and is one of only a handful of locally produced, non-news programs on the air in the region.
