New England Allison Legacy Series (NEALS)

June 29th 2003, Wiscasset, Maine & Stonington, Connecticut

Tom Mayberry, Wiscasset Raceway Promoter and P.A.S.S tour director, along with Mark Bogue, New England Allison Legacy Series race director have announced the running of the "Little Dawg 150" at Wiscasset Raceway on Sunday, August 31st. This will be the richest Allison Legacy race in the country with a total purse of over $20,000! The "Little Dawg 150" is already drawing interest from national series teams as far away as Florida. It is expected to draw as many as 70 to 80 Legacy cars from all over the nation. This race, the first of its kind, pits teenagers against grand fathers, Ford against Chevy, and male against female.

Maine’s own 16 year Katie Hagar was the first repeat winner in the New England Allison Legacy series when she covered the field in Sunday’s regular series race at Wiscasset Raceway. With Wiscasset as her home track, Katie looks to be one of the favorites to pocket the $5000 winners’ share of the purse. With her dominating win at Wiscasset, Katie is letting everyone know that she has the place figured out.
