Team Lasky: Sounds Nice, Make it Twice

(Jennerstown, PA)………On a rain-dated sunny Sunday afternoon at Western PA’s premier asphalt oval, Team Lasky shined again. Coming off of last week’s first career Pro Truck victory, the team was looking to repeat.

The Med Temp Services/WUZZ 97 Silverado started the heat race from the outside-pole. Jason quickly got around the 96 of Todd Price and cruised to his third heat race victory.

After last week’s victory, Jason was required to roll off the grid in the fifth-place starting position. He moved the Fuel City/Advance Auto Parts Chevrolet into third, behind Alum Bank’s Todd Price and the 8 of Marion Reno. Jason found his way underneath Reno and settled into second position. However, the young driver would not settle there for long. The Lasky Motor Sports machine was hooked up and Jason chipped away at the straight-away lead held by Price. It was not until the 19th circuit that Jason was able to finally catch the 96. Once there, they battled side-by-side for almost two laps, when Lasky finally gained sole possession of first place. From there, the determined driver took the Med Temp Services Silverado to victory lane for the second time in as many weeks.

Join us next week at the Laurel Highland’s Oval for regular racing, twin Pro Truck features, PA Legacies, and the Men's Enduro. See you at the races!
