"Jennerstown Speedway gives something back to the community"
Jennerstown, Pa - Wednesday, July 16, 2003 3:00 p.m. - Dave and
Jennifer Wheeler, owners of Jennerstown Speedway, are proud to announce that
the fans will be admitted for !!!FREE!!! to the Laurel Highlands Oval
grandstands on Saturday, July 19th to enjoy a night of racing featuring the
NASCAR Weekly Racing Series Presented By Dodge, the PA Legacy Series and
Jennerstowns Mens' and Womens Enduros.
"The local economy has been terrible this year and families are finding
it very difficult to find the extra money for family entertainment. I felt
we should give something back to the community during these difficult
times," stated Dave Wheeler. "In addition, we know that the weather has been
horrible and our race fans have had to endure delays and rain-outs all
season long. My family and I want to extend this personal invitation to fans
and families from throughout the region to come to Jennerstown Speedway and
experience a night of racing on us. We're confident you'll be back!"
PACK THE TRACK" night is being sponsored by Arnold Palmer Motors and will
include six divisions of racing including the Rolling Rock Late Models,
Tommy Gale/Haulmark Pro-Trucks, Jennerstown Modifieds, Chargers, Street
Stocks, Mens and Ladies Enduros plus the PA Legacy Series!
In addition to the racing, the band High Maintenance will be performing
at the Laurel Highlands Oval. Plus, fans will be eligible for numerous
giveaways throught the evening. And, SpongeBob SquarePants will be at the
Speedway to entertain fans of all ages! We will also be having an autograph
session for all drivers so that the entire family will get a chance to meet
