RAINED OUT AT JENNERSTOWN

Jennerstown, PA; August 16th, 2003, - The first practice sessions saw the WalTom team with a fast racecar. They came in with the second fastest lap times in both of the two practice sessions. A few adjustments were made at the end of the second practice session and the team ended up qualifying 6th in the starting field with a time of 19.453 seconds - 96.602 miles per hour.

The event was postponed due to rain and the field ran laps around the track to dry it out enough to start the race. The car wasn’t handling very well at all at the start of the race, and so the team pitted early to make some adjustments to the car. The car started to come back around and Robbie started to move back up through the field, and then it started to rain again. The race was called on account of rain at lap 137. Robbie and the WalTom team finished the race in 7th place.

With 12 out of 17 races completed, the WalTom team is currently 5th in championship points. The next event is at Lake Erie Speedway, August 24, 2003 at 2:00 pm. Watch the action LIVE on SPEED.
