PA Legacy Series

 

September 12, 2003 – Motordrome Speedway (Smithton, PA)

                The PA Legacy Series competed at Motordrome Speedway with an exciting  feature event on Friday, September 12, 2003.  Jumping out to an early lead from a front row starting spot was Chris Brink.  After an early caution, the middle of the pack was battling side by side 3 rows deep for most of the race.  At the checkered flag it was PJ Ehrlich followed by Chris Brink, Brett Boyer, Kyle Martel and Rick Boyer.  Heat races were won by Jayme Bolkovac and PJ Ehrlich.

 

September 13, 2003 – Jennerstown Speedway (Jennerstown, PA)

                The crowd once again was treated to an exciting night of racing when the PA Legacy Series traveled to Jennerstown Speedway on Saturday, September 14, 2003.  PJ Ehrlich used a mid race caution to his advantage by taking the lead on the restart and winning his 5^th feature event of the season.  PJ Ehrlich was chasing Kyle Martel and was able to move ahead of him after the lap 15 incident involving Chris Brink and Ken Pearce.  PJ Ehrlich was followed to the finish line by Kyle Martel, Brett Boyer, Jayme Bolkovac and Dave Campbell.  Heat races were won by Chris Brink and PJ Ehrlich

 

With 2 feature wins this weekend, PJ Ehrlich is now tied for first place with Jayme Bolkovac in the 2003 PA Legacy Series points title.  With one remaining race in the season, next Saturday night at Jennerstown Speedway, the excitement will be high and the competition will be unbelievable.
