RICHARD MITCHELL
DOVER NOTES AND QUOTES

"Dover has a reputation for being a tough place to get around.  The track is
high banked, with a rough concrete surface.  The racing groove is rather
narrow, which usually translates into some beating and banging.  In many ways
Dover is like a big Bristol...... it's fast and things can happen in a hurry.
You have to be up on the steering wheel all the time; there is no time to
relax."

RACING ON CONCRETE:
"I really didn't notice much of a difference between concrete and asphalt
when I raced at Nashville earlier this year.  The concrete may be a bit
slicker, and I've been told the surface at Dover is rough, but we'll have to
see for ourselves.  It really doesn't make much difference; you have to be
able to race on all types of tracks and surfaces to be successful in this
league."

LAST RACE AT RICHMOND:
"Richmond was a big turning point for our team.  We struggled during the two
previous BUSCH races, and needed a solid run to get back on track.  We
accomplished that by qualifying and finishing in the 23rd position.  Our goal
was to run in the top-25.  We need to keep the momentum going at Dover."

*  Aside from a 23rd place run at Richmond, Mitchell was credited with 34th
and 35th place finishes in his first two BUSCH Series starts at Nashville
Superspeedway.  Mitchell failed to qualify at Chicagoland (38th) and Michigan
(39th).

*  In four 2002 ARCA Re/Max Series races Mitchell has recorded three top-10
runs (Daytona -seventh / Lowe's-fifth / Michigan-third).  While leading the
July Pocono race Mitchell crashed after cutting-down a rear tire, relegating
him to 27th in the final run down.

*  Mitchell, who holds a mechanical engineering degree from West Virginia
University (WVU), will be featured in the annual Homecoming parade in
Morgantown.  The Bruceton Mills-native will be representing WVU's 'Race to
Health' program.  Mitchell also will appear at the WVU Homecoming football
game on Oct. 19.

*  Mitchell will be driving the same Ronnie Hopkins-built Chevrolet Monte Carl
o that he piloted in the two Nashville contests.  The car was purchased from
Bobby Labonte earlier in the year.

*  The next scheduled events for the Coach USA team will be ARCA Re/Max
Series races at Talladega Superspeedway (Oct. 5) and Lowe's Motor Speedway
(Oct.10).

The Dover MBNA All-American Heroes 200 will be televised live at 1:00 PM
(EDT) on the TNT cable network.  The race also will be broadcast live on the
MRN radio network.
