MITCHELL 32nd AT THE ROCK

ROCKINGHAM, NC (Nov 2) ........ West Virginia driver Richard Mitchell
concluded his 2002 NASCAR BUSCH Series campaign by driving the Coach USA /
Mountaineer Gaming / West Virginia "Wild and Wonderful" Monte Carlo to a 32nd
place finish in Saturday afternoon's SAM CLUB 200 event at the North Carolina
Speedway.

Mitchell, who posted the 34th quickest time in the 51-car field during
Friday's qualifying session at the 1.017-mile tri-oval, was philosophical
about his finish.

"I was never able to keep the car down on the white line going into the
corners," said the two-time NASCAR Northeast Region Weekly Racing Series
champion, "the more I ran, the more the car pushed-up the race track.  New
tires helped correct the situation for awhile, but you grind them up pretty
fast at this place."

"No one  likes to finish 32nd," added Mitchell, but we accomplished our
primary goal by qualifying for the event and running the entire race.  This
is a tough series to crack, especially when you run an independent car with
all part-time people working on it.  The BUSCH deal is so competitive right
now, that it is a victory to qualify for the race.  There were a couple of
NASCAR touring series champions that went home this weekend    I'm proud of
our guys..... we have been competitive all year against teams that have far
more resources.  I was able to get seat time this season and get a feel for
the series.  We'll have to go from there."
