MITCHELL TO START 34TH AT ROCKINGHAM

Rockingham, NC  Nov. 1 ... West Virginia driver Richard Mitchell picked a
good time to turn his fastest lap of the day at the North Carolina Speedway
... his second qualifying lap for Saturdays Sam's Club 200 NASCAR Busch
Series race.

Two-time NASCAR North Region Weekly Racing Series champion drove his Coach
USA / Mountaineer Gaming / West Virginia "Wild and Wonderful" Chevrolet Monte
Carlo to a speed of  2.485 sec (149.528 mph) around the 1.017 mile tri-oval.

"We struggled during morning practice trying to get the car into the 2.450
bracket," Mitchell said, "and our first qualifying lap was really terrible.
I thought to myself 'Man, we better pick up the pace, or we're going home."

The West Virginia University graduate will be making his fourth NASCAR Busch
Series of the season will line up 34th  in the contest.

"BUSCH racing is so tough, if feels great just to make a race," Mitchell
added.  You can throw a blanket over the middle of the field, make one small
mistake, and you end up missing the race in this league.  I think we'll have
a good car for the race tomorrow, and I'm looking forward to making my first
start at the Rock."

Saturday's Sam's Club 200 will be televised live on the TNT cable network
beginning at 1:00 PM ET.  The race will also be broadcast live on the MRN
radio network.
