RICHARD MITCHELL NASHVILLE NOTES & QUOTES

RACING ON CONCRETE:

"April's Nashville contest was the first time I ever raced on a concrete
racing surface.  Truthfully, I couldn't tell much difference between concrete
and asphalt.  The Nashville track is super-smooth, but it still lacks grip in
the upper groove.  Once it developes two-grooves, Nashville will be an
awesome race track.

ON RACING AT NIGHT:

"With the modern lighting systems being used on the super speedways, it
doesn't make much difference to the drivers.  I did all of my short track
racing at night, and I ran the ARCA race at Lowe's last Fall at night, so I
don't think racing under the lights will be an issue.  In fact, I'm loking
forward to the night race, because it should make it a little cooler in the
car."

  *  Mitchell qualified 33rd and finished 35th after dropping out of the race
with electrical problems in his Nashville BUSCH Series debut on April 13.

  *  In his most recent race, Mitchell finished fifth in the May 18 ARCA
RE/MAX Series Easy Care 100 at Lowe's Motor Speedway.  Mitchell also placed
seventh in the rain-shortened ARCA 200 at Daytona Int. Speedway this past
February.

  *  George Church has joined the Mac Hill Motorsports team as a consultant.
A veteran car owner/crew chief from the New England region, Church also has
worked with Jimmy Spencer's BUSCH Series program, as well as several
Craftsman Truck Series efforts.

  *  Mitchell will again be driving a 2002 Mike Laughlin-built Monte Carlo
that was purchased from Winston Cup competitor Terry Labonte.

  *  The Coach USA team will compete in the June 15 ARCA RE/MAX Series  race
at Michigan Int. Speedway.  The team's next NASCAR BUSCH Series race will
come at Chicagoland Speedway on July 13.

  *   The Nashville INSIDE TRAXX 300 will take the green flag at 7:30 PM
(CT).  The race will be televised live (8:30 PM / EDT) on the FX cable
network.
