USAR Hooters Pro Cup Series Invades Jennerstown Speedway

JENNERSTOWN, PA (June 5, 2002) – Saturday, June 8, 2002, the USAR Hooters Pro Cup Series will make their second of four appearances at Jennerstown Speedway.  The Naturally Fresh Foods 250 is bound to provide lots of exciting, door-to-door, fender banging racing action!  Although the Hooters Pro Cup race is the highlight of the evening, there is plenty of fun and excitement planned for the race fans.   

The pre-race festivities are certain to please everyone in attendance.  The USAR drivers will share the spotlight with a group of the Pittsburgh Steelers, as the Steelers join them for a pre-race on-track autograph session at 5:45 p.m.  The ‘Heart & Soul Barbershop Quartet’ will honor our nations colors, as a pair of skydivers perform a patriotic exhibition.  The race fans also have the opportunity to win as the Spectator $500 returns to Jennerstown Speedway.  The Spectator $500 is a contest in which the fans enter a drawing to be paired with one of the top five qualifying Naturally Fresh Late Model Challenge Series Late Model drivers.  If one of those five eligible Late Model drivers wins the Classis Caesar Dressings 50, the fan paired with them wins $500.  If a non-eligible driver wins the race, the $500 will ‘roll over’ to the next Spectator $500 race, making the possible winnings $1,000.   

A portion of event sales will be donated to the AG Foundation.  The AG Foundation, founded by player development coach Anthony Griggs, works “to help assist our youth of today and growing, building and establishing themselves as young leaders of tomorrow.”
