Richard Petty Driving Experience is taking race fans
one-step closer to experiencing first-hand the thrill and
excitement of stock car racing. RPDE will be offering the
Ultimate Race Experience, a program that lets participants
ride for ten laps, from the green flag to the checkered with
a professional instructor as they enjoy side-by-side racing,
passing and the ever-important pit crew challenge for a real
team-building experience.
"Richard
Petty Driving Experience is providing race fans a tremendous
and unique thrill with the Ultimate Race Experience," said
Rick Fedrizzi, president of RPDE. "Not only do fans get to
feel what its like to ride or drive in Winston Cup-style
stock cars with our programs, they now can experience the
high-speed action only a race can provide."
Participants experience the first lap on the track lead by a
pace car. As soon as the green flag falls, a ten-lap
high-speed adventure begins with six cars racing toward the
finish line for the win.
"Nothing
is better than the high-power of a stock car as it makes a
pass on the track, " said seven-time Winston Cup Champion
Richard Petty. "I'm excited that race fans will finally have
the chance to experience the part of racing that makes you
want more. This is the most fun race fans can have without
actually entering a professional race."

will offer this race from the passenger seat as part of the
“Short Track URE 2002 Tour” at 20-plus various short tracks
in 19 states including Jennerstown Speedway in Jennerstown,
