MITCHELL LOOKING TO REBOUND AT MICHIGAN

MOORESVILLE, NC (Aug. 9)........ Richard Mitchell's last two races can be
likened to a bad dream, or perhaps more correctly stated, a nightmare.  But,
the West Virginia driver will be putting those thoughts out of his mind when
he heads into the Aug. 17th Cabela's 250 mile NASCAR BUSCH Series contest at
Michigan International Speedway.

A two-time NASCAR Northeast region Weekly Racing Series champion, Mitchell
failed to qualify for his last BUSCH Series outing at Chicagoland Speedway;
then two weeks later crashed while leading the ARCA RE/MAX series event at
Pocono Raceway.

"A nightmare is a good way to describe our last two races," Mitchell said.
"A small piece of debris in one of the carburetor chambers and a bound-up
transmission caused us to miss the Chicagoland BUSCH race.  We just couldn't
get the car up to speed."  "At Pocono we had just passed Frank Kimmel for the
lead when the right rear tire went down, sending us into the first turn
wall," Mitchell lamented, "hopefully all the bad luck is behind us now."

Mitchell is looking forward to returning to the 2.0 mile Michigan tri-oval, a
track where he has enjoyed a great deal of success on the ARCA circuit.

In his three ARCA races there the West Virginia University mechanical
engineering graduate has garnered two top-five runs, along with a 13th-place
finish in his inaugural Michigan start in 2001.  Mitchell drove his Coach USA
/ Mountaineer Gaming / West Virginia Tourism entry to third in this June's
ARCA race, after battling  for victory during the closing laps.

"I like racing at Michigan......it's a big, fast, multi-grooved track,"
Mitchell added, "you have to have a combination of horsepower and handling to
be successful."

Mitchell feels his Coach USA team can be competitive at Michigan, despite the
fact he will be racing against drivers and teams boasting more resources and
financial support.  "We obviously can't match the bigger, heavily sponsored
BUSCH teams with Winston Cup ties," Mitchell concluded, "but I feel we can be
competitive.  We qualified in the middle of the field for the BUSCH race at
Nashville.  If we get the car right, we can run in the top -20.  That's our
goal."
