- The PA Legacy Series,
sponsored by Cover Insurance, competed at Jennerstown Speedway
on Saturday night, June 29, 2002. A full field of cars were
on hand. The heat races were won by Rick Boyer and PJ
Ehrlich.

- In the feature event, points
leader Joey Dennewitz jumped into the early lead with Kyle
Martel on his bumper. An early caution for a spin by Michael
Vasquez slowed the field. On the restart, Rick Boyer and Kyle
Martel was battling for 2nd place. Brett Boyer was
moving up through the field from starting last due to
mechanical trouble in the heat race. At the half way mark,
the field settled down for the remainder of the race. At the
checkered flag, it was Joey Dennewitz followed by Brett Boyer,
PJ Ehrlich, Chris Brink and Rick Boyer.
