- The PA Legacy Series competed
at Jennerstown Speedway on Saturday, July 6, 2002. A good
field of cars took to the ˝ mile oval for an exciting night of
racing. Joey Dennewitz and Brett Boyer won the heat races.

- In the feature, Joey
Dennewitz started on the pole and took off into the lead at
the drop of the green flag. Chris Brink battled with Brett
Boyer for second and took over the position in the next few
laps. Mid-way through the race, PJ Ehrlich moved into 3rd.
A late race spin by Kyle Martel bunched the field up for a
“green – white – checkered” finish. On the restart, Chris
Brink put the pressure to Joey Dennewitz but ran out of laps.
At the checkered flag, Joey Dennewitz finished just ahead of
Chris Brink. Third place was PJ Ehrlich followed by Brett
Boyer and Rick Boyer.

- The next scheduled events
will be in two weeks with a “triple feature” weekend. Two
features will be ran at Motordrome Speedway on Friday, July
19, 2002 and one will be held at Jennerstown Speedway on
Saturday, July 20, 2002.
