- The PA Legacy Series,
sponsored by Cover Insurance, raced a double race weekend. On
Friday, August 16, 2002, the Series was at Motordrome
Speedway. In the feature event, the front row of Brett Boyer
and Mark Howard raced side by side for 2 laps until Joey
Dennewitz made it three wide in turn three thus creating
contact between Howard and Boyer and the first of several
caution periods. Joey Dennewitz never looked back and went on
to win the feature event. Mark Howard moved through the field
into 2nd place with PJ Ehrlich in third, Dave
Holder in forth and Kyle Martel in fifth. Joey Dennewitz won
the heat race.

- On Saturday, August 17, 2002,
the PA Legacy Series was at Jennerstown Speedway. For the
feature event, the pole setter, Dave Campbell, jumped into the
early lead but was feeling pressure from Chris Brink. On lap
3, Brink took over the lead and was being chased by point’s
leader Joey Dennewitz. The caution flag for a spin by Dave
Holder at the halfway point slowed the race. When the green
was shown, Brett Boyer and PJ Ehrlich put the pressure to
Dennewitz but he held onto the lead position. At the finish
line, it was Dennewitz, Ehrlich, Boyer, Dave Campbell and Eric
Kulikowski.

Series will be at Jennerstown Speedway on Saturday, August 24,
2002.
