The PA Legacy Series, sponsored by Cover Insurance, has delayed the start to the 2002 racing season due to inclement weather.  

The race scheduled this past Friday night, April 5, 2002, at Motordrome Speedway was cancelled and will not be rescheduled.  Instead, a double feature event or a double points event at Motordrome Speedway will take place later this season -- date to be announced when confirmed.  

Practice at Jennerstown Speedway, scheduled for Saturday, April 6, 2002, was also cancelled due to the weather.  

The next race for the PA Legacy Series is scheduled for Saturday, April 20, 2002 at Jennerstown Speedway.  A full field of cars is expected including several rookies, several out of state drivers and the 2001 Rookie of the Year, Joey Dennewitz.  The 2000 and 2001 PA Legacy Champion, Jayme Bolkovac, has sold her car and will be concentrating on continuing her career in the Late Model division locally.
