The PA Legacy Series competed at Motordrome Speedway on Friday, May 10, 2002.  Mark Howard traveled in from North Carolina and made it a heat race – feature race sweep with the wins.  Early in the feature event, Brad Grace jumped into an early lead until the Joey Dennewitz and Mark Howard caught him and passed him putting him back into 3^rd position.  Half way thru the race, the battle was on between Howard and Dennewitz for the lead with side-by-side action for a few laps.  In the end, it was Howard that took the checkered flag first.  Following Howard, was Joey Dennewitz, PJ Ehrlich, Chris Brink and Brett Boyer. 

Saturday, May 11, 2002 

The PA Legacy Series, sponsored by Cover Insurance, traveled to Jennerstown Speedway.  With a full field of cars, both the heat races and feature event went caution free.  Chris Brink and Joey Dennewitz won heat races.  In the feature event, the # 59 car driven by Kyle Martel jumped to an early lead from the front row followed by Brett Boyer and Chris Brink.  Joey Dennewitz moved up through the field and passed Martel for the lead just after half way.  The battle then was for 3^rd place between Brett Boyer and PJ Ehrlich.  At the checkered flag, Joey Dennewitz was the winner followed by Kyle Martel, Brett Boyer, PJ Ehrlich and Chris Brink. 

The next event for the PA Legacy Series is on Saturday, May 18, 2002 at Jennerstown Speedway.
