EIGHT PENNSYLVANIA DRIVERS ENTERED IN SATURDAY'S LUCAS OIL 250

JENNERSTOWN, PA - Saturday's Lucas Oil Products 250 at Jennerstown
Speedway has attracted a stellar field of 46 entries, including eight from
Pennsylvania who will lead the Northern bunch against their Southern
counterparts.

The 125-mile, 250-lap race is classified as a Northern Division event for
the United Speed Alliance Racing (USAR) Hooters ProCup Series. Thirteen
drivers from the Southern Division will also be on hand to get a look-see
at the slightly-banked half-mile oval in preparation for a return visit on
Sept. 28th. Southern Division drivers can not earn points this weekend at
Jennerstown, but could collect the $10,000 first-place prize.

It all builds towards Round 2 of the Hooters ProCup "Four Champions
Challenge" race on Sept. 28th at Jennerstown Speedway. During those five
events comprising the Four Champions Challenge, the top-25 drivers in
Southern and Northern Division points will converge on tracks in Illinois,
Pennsylvania, South Carolina, North Carolina and Florida to determine the
overall USAR ProCup Series 2001 Champion.

Among the top entries are both division points leaders, the North's Mardy
Lindley of Taylors, SC., and the South's Hal Goodson of Winston-Salem, NC.
If that's confusing, remember that drivers had to declare their points
division prior to the start of the season, and it didn't matter where they
lived.

There's a true Pennsylvania flavor to the entry list with eight entries:
Dave Houpt of Frieden, Jeremiah Kuntz of Mahaffey, Tim Bainey Jr. of
Osceola Mills, Travis Aryes of Granville Summitt, Grant Andrews Jr. of
Albrightsville, Jimmy Burns of Quakertown, BJ Underdown of Williamsport and
Johnny Mackinson Jr. of York.

Other leading entries include Northern points-seekers Brian Vickers of
Thomasville, NC., Jeff Agnew of Floyd, VA, and Donnie Hill of Columbus, OH.
Other top drivers from the Southern division entered at Jennerstown
include Steve Christian of Buford, GA, and Mike Laughlin Jr. of
Simponsivlle, SC. Christian won the last Southern division race last week
at Montgomery, AL.

Spectator gates will open at 4 p.m., with Hooters ProCup time trials at 5
p.m., and an autograph session at 6 p.m. The Lucas Oil Products 250 is set
for a 7 p.m. start, and will pay $10,000 to win. Tickets will be available
at the gate. Adults are $20, ages 12-15 are $10 and under age 12 are free.
