On Sunday,
June 11, Team Three Motorsports showed their appreciation to Lowe’s
for their support of the Late Models for the “2000" racing season.
A card signed by the Late Model drivers and a banner were given to
store manager Tom Holzworth. The following cars were on display at
the Lowe’s store in Richland: Mark Smith’s - #94, Barry Awtey’s
#75, the Steve Peles Ride N Drive car and the 2000 “Chevrolet” pace
car. Fans were able to meet drivers and crews, register for door
prizes and look at the beautiful cars on display. Door prizes were
donated by: Wheeler Bros/AC Delco, Richter Motorsports, Mark Cottone,
Lowe’s Home Improvement Warehouse, and Team Three Motorsports.
Photos of Barry Awtey and Rick Boyer’s cars were also handed out.
Fans young and old enjoyed candy donated by Bill Richter. Another
display will be held sometime in August with more cars and stars and
possibly an on the scene radio broadcast.
The following fans won door prizes. They can be picked up at the
speedway office.
