Motorsports Releases 2000 Schedule
For Inaugural Season at Jennerstown Speedway |
Jennerstown, PA- (March 19, 2000)- Team Three
Motorsports is pleased to present it's inaugural 2000 Jennerstown
Speedway season schedule, featuring the NASCAR Weekly Racing Series,
for immediate release.
Everything kicks off in April at Jennerstown Speedway with two
separate Saturday dates for Practice & Open House sessions on the
15th and 22nd, offering free admission to fans for their first look
of the century at the teams and track. Then on opening night
April 29th, Team Three Motorsports presents a $5.00
FAN APPRECIATION NIGHT, featuring a full night of racing
action, along with a fantastic fireworks display. May will be a full
month of racing action, featuring Tribune Review and Exide race
nights, ending on the 27th with the running of the Piney
Lasky Memorial 100 for Late Models, with extended lap races
for Legacy Cars and Pro Trucks.
June is busting out all over with a second $5.00 Fan Appreciation
Night presented by Snyder of Berlin on the l0th, and the areas only
appearance of a NASCAR Touring series as Carquest Auto Parts and
Burnham Boilers present the Busch Grand National North Division in a
150 lap event, along with the Late Models in a 100 lap race on the
17th.
July heats up on the 1st with the running of the Firecracker 100 for
Late Models, plus extended lap races for the Modified and Street
Stock divisions. July ends with race nights presented by JLG
Industries and Hershey Chocolates.
The American Speed Association (ASA) returns to Jennerstown Speedway
on the first weekend in August with practice on the 5th, and their
400-lap feature on the 6th. Then on August 19th Arnold Palmer Motors
presents twin 50 lap Late Model features, along with five other
divisions of racing, and a party in the pits after the final
checkered flag.
The 2000 season will conclude on September 9th with the annual Fall
Festival.
