Jennerstown, PA -June 19, 2000 -Team Three Motorsports Inc. wishes to
set the record straight concerning the erroneous rumors and speculation
surrounding the removal of the Wheeler Brothers/AC Delco Modified
division from the NASCAR Weekly Racing Series program at Jennerstown
Speedway for the remainder of the 2000 racing season. In conjunction
with the Modified division clarification, there is another scheduled
addition that will make many racers very happy.
First off, the Wheeler Brothers/AC Delco Modified division will remain
on the NASCAR Weekly Racing Series schedule, and will compete during
every remaining weekly race date during the 2000 racing season at
Jennerstown Speedway. Team Three Motorsports Inc. also wishes it to be
know that there will be no foreseen changes made to the current Modified
division rules for the remainder of the 2000 racing season.
Secondly, Team Three Motorsports Inc. is pleased to announce that the
recent success of the Enduro races has prompted the Speedway management
to increase their participation at the Laurel Highlands Oval. Beginning
on the race night of July 8th, the Enduro races will be held every other
Saturday during regular NASCAR Weekly Racing Series programs. This will
include the race dates of July 22nd, along with those on August 12th and
26th.
"The four cylinder, front wheel drive car format has exceeded everyone’s
expectation for driving competition and racing excitement here at
Jennerstown Speedway," said Speedway General Manager Tom Ifft. "With car
counts in excess of fifty entries, the Enduro races have given many race
fans and crew members the perfect opportunity to showcase their racing
abilities, in an event that can best be described as organized chaos,"
he said.

regulations, contact the Jennerstown Speedway office at (814)-629-6677
