sanctioning body for local racers and teams to compete under for the
2001 racing season, and beyond. He said that the relationship between

felt that it would continue to grow for many years to come. He then went

events held at the Laurel Highlands Oval during 2001 season. A second
regular season race in July, and one of the four Series
Champion/Championship Events in September.
It was announced that each of these three races will also be televised
nationally on the Speedvision Cable Network, making a total of four
separate occasions for the Jennerstown Speedway to receive national
Motorsports attention in 2001, from millions of race fans tuning in
across the entire country. In related news it was also stated that the
USAR has chosen the Jennerstown Speedway as their Northern Region
headquarters, and will set up offices on site to maintain their
day-to-day Northern operations.

hand out the awards for the top ten points finishers in each division.
These awards included magnificent NASCAR trophies and wall plaques,
along with monogrammed Jennerstown Speedway shirts and Hoosier Racing
Tire Champion Jackets. Each Divisional Champion took their turn at the
microphone to thank all those who helped to make their dreams become
reality.
Steve Peles closed out the evening by recognizing all of the sponsors,
media, and staff, who he said helped to make the first season at
Jennerstown Speedway a memorable one for all of the members of Team
Three Motorsports Inc., and reminded everyone that the 2001 racing
season would be even bigger and better.
