4 Cylinder Enduros Return to Jennerstown Speedway

Jennerstown – (April 19, 2000) – Based on the success of the enduro shows during the 1999 season, Team Three Motor Sports, Inc. has announced plans for the return of the enduro class to Jennerstown Speedway. The cars are based on 4-cylinder non-turbo charged front wheel drive American or foreign stock passenger cars. This wild 60 car plus division will run without any cautions, with the race only being stopped when the track becomes completely blocked.

Preliminary plans have the Enduros returning for four shows this season. Unlike last year, the races will be held as the final event on Saturday nights. The four definite dates are May 6, June 10, July 8 and August 12.

The races will be run exactly the same as last year with a one-hour or 100 lap limit. Team Three Motor Sports, Inc. has put in place a $350.00 claim rule for the race. This rule is set up to help keep anyone from spending excess amounts of money on their racecar. This is not a NASCAR event so it will not require a NASCAR license. All drivers must register with the speedway and fill out a minor release form if applicable. There is no registration fee for the cars but the competitors will have to pay for their pit admittance only.

Complete rules for the cars and race are available at the speedway office. For information please call (814)-629-6677.
