Jennerstown, PA – (April 6, 2000) Team Three Motor Sports, Inc. and
Jennerstown Speedway have announced a variety of programs to help
increase the involvement of race fans with the weekly racing series.
Among the programs are The Spectator 500, The Jennerstown Speedway Track
Princess, Autographed Hat Giveaway, and an Autographed Helmet Giveaway.
The most exciting of these programs being the Spectator 500 which was
modeled after the No Bull 5 in Winston Cup. On the evenings of May 27,
June 17, July 1, August 19, and September 9, five individuals will be
selected from a random drawing. They each will be assigned one of the
top five drivers in points going in to that evening. If one of those
drivers wins, then the fan will win $500.00. If none of the drivers win,
then the money will be carried over to the next Spectator 500 event.
Fans can register on any race night and they can register as many times
as they want.
In an effort to involve more of their younger fans, Team Three Motor
Sports, Inc. has done away with the annual Track Queen Program. It has
been replaced with a weekly Jennerstown Speedway Track Princess Program.
Each week a girl between the ages of 5 and 12 will be drawn to be the
track princess for the following week. She will receive tickets for her
family, a crown, a sash and be involved in the victory lane activities.
Her picture will also appear in the following weeks track program.
Applications can be picked up at the speedway office.
On the night of the Firecracker 100, July 1st, Team Three Motor Sports,
Inc. will give away an Autographed Helmet. This helmet has been
autographed by 37 Winston Cup Drivers, Busch Drivers, Owners, Crew
Chiefs, and Announcers. It will be on display under the grandstands for
every one to see and register for.
In addition to these programs Team Three Motor Sports, Inc. will give an
autographed 2000 NASCAR Daytona 500 hat every other week. Fans can also
register and view that week’s hat underneath the grandstands. So fans,
come out and try your luck with all the contests.
